Harvest Contracted with ValPlace Development to Build Two Value Place Extended Stay Hotels in the Houston Area

Kansas City, MO, January 2, 2008 - Harvest Construction announces the signing of two hotel projects with ValPlace Development in the Houston area. Harvest has been contracted to construct Value Place extended stay hotels for the Dallas-based developer. The projects collectively account for over $6,300,000 in aggregate value.

Tim Jordan, President of Operations, had this to say about the projects, “Texas is an area of focus for us. We have cultivated some valuable relationships throughout several markets in Texas, and it is beginning to pay dividends to not only us by providing Harvest with additional opportunities but also our clients because we are able to leverage our capabilities.”

Mr. Jordan and company will be conducting pre-construction meetings in an effort to kick start both projects this week. This marks the third and fourth projects currently being constructed by Harvest in the Lone Star State. Harvest is also presently building a Holiday Inn Express in Amarillo as well as a Value Place hotel in Tyler.
